I'm so excited to start sharing some of the photographs I captured of Joanna during my visit! She was an absolute dream to photograph, I mean this girl is beautiful. Not only that, but she is kind, bubbly, and creative! You may think she is quiet at first, but once you get to know her this girl is pretty outgoing. She's the type of friend who listens to all of my silly ramblings and will watch Austenland and Leap Year with you the whole day. She has a love for good design, traveling, and simplicity. She is basically a walking JCREW model, but she isn't afraid to work on her family farm.

I wasn't completely sure what to expect, flying out to another state to meet someone for the first time. I can truly say, it was a wonderful adventure! I felt very welcomed  from her and her family during my stay. My visit with her has been one of the highlights so far of my summer! She shared some of her photographs she captured of me (you can find part one here) and she said it perfectly, It didn't feel weird to "meet" her for the first time, almost as if we had been best friends since childhood getting together.

Both of us have slightly different photographic styles, which I love! So we both decided to use our creative styles on each other. I'm stoked the way her shoot turned out. I told Joanna I've always wanted to photograph in field, probably slightly cliché, but around here in the city-wide open spaces are harder to find. I photographed her on HER land amongst a field of wildflowers. Couldn't have found a better location.
